Welcome to our Centennial Year!

Sharde Singleton Scholarship

Welcome to the website of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Gamma Nu Zeta Chapter! Gamma Nu Zeta Chapter is the first graduate chapter in the state of New Jersey and has been serving Camden County since 1948.  It is a privilege to greet you as the centennial president of the Western Camden County and City of Camden Graduate Chapter!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by out page to learn more about the work we do in Camden County. We are committed to promoting Zeta’s principals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood. Our chapter currently sponsors two undergraduate chapters at both Rowan University and Rutgers University Camden. In addition, we sponsor youth auxiliaries, with the goal of educating, empowering, and inspiring young girls ages 4 to 18 years of age. We also have an amicae auxiliary group for women who do not have a college degree, but believe in the ideals of Zeta and would like to assist our chapter with our community service and national programs.

The sorority is well known for its national initiative, Zetas Helping Other People Excel (Z-HOPE), its support of higher education by giving scholarships through the National Education Foundation, and proving guidance on prenatal care to mothers through our national program, known as Stork’s Nest with the March of Dimes. Gamma Nu Zeta Chapter has a Stork’s Nest that currently operates out of Virtua Hospital in Marlton, New Jersey. Other national programs that Gamma Nu Zeta participates in include: Mental Health, Autism, Military Outreach, Adopt a School, Prematurity Awareness, and making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

The ladies of Gamma Nu Zeta are excited and ready to continue the journey to our Sorority’s 100 Year Celebration.

I sincerely hope that you take the time to explore our website and get to more about the sorority as well as our members, and various youth and Amicae affiliates.

Sincerely,

Deirdre Laws, Esq.
President of Gamma Nu Zeta
